The Re Readathon!

I wasn’t going to take part in this year’s re Readathon because I am notorious for reading a book and then never picking it up again. But I also keep every book I have ever bought in my mid-teen to adult life and that seems like a pointless endeavour if I don’t force myself to pick them back up again.

I also took part in a meme recently (on both my Twitter and my Instagram– follow the links for my recommendations!) where I recommended a book for each ‘like’ and that got me all nostalgic!

So, I’m taking part. Which is not to say I will only be reading old books for the whole time. But I’d like to pick up some old favourites.

In particular, I’d like to re read Timbuktu by Paul Auster, The Last Continent by Terry Pratchett and Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. I could an endless list! Lolita will probably be my classic for my April Classics Monday post!

Signs up are here if anyone is interested!

  1. Awww Terry Pratchett! You’ve made me want to find something of his to re-read… There are so many Discworld books I know I’ve read but don’t remember at all! Happy to have you joining us!
